Happy First-Day-of-School Eve, Scotties! Everyone at GHS is so EXCITED to welcome our Scottie Scholars back into the building tomorrow! I wanted to remind you all of some items before tomorrow arrives:
1) Drop off is at 7:30am. If you have a unique circumstance and need to drop your Scottie off sooner, please email Mr. Norman to make arrangements.
2) Car-Rider drop off is in the front of the building ONLY - please see the attached map. Buses unload in the back of the building, so you must avoid those.
3) Students will either report to the gym or cafeteria in the morning once they arrive - please only go to the cafeteria if you plan to eat breakfast. All cellphones and headphones shall be put away upon entering the building.
4) At 7:50, students will be released to report to their homerooms - no worries, we have homeroom lists posted throughout the building. Students will receive another copy of their schedule in homeroom.
5) Please make sure your student brings their Charged Chromebook Daily - if they have not received their Chromebook yet, we will distribute those tomorrow. Also, some students did not receive chargers at pick-up - we will distribute those as well. Just a reminder that students CANNOT bring their own devices this year.
6) All backpacks, cellphones, and headphones should be stored in the assigned lockers - if you're nervous about using your locker, we'll have staff throughout the building to help!
7) Your student will bring home the necessary forms for you to complete - please be sure to complete the household income form as that assists in the funding of the school and helps provide free breakfast and lunch to all students.
8) Please be patient with our transportation department as tomorrow is a busy day for them.
9) Come with a positive attitude, excitement, and motivation to Fuel the Future!!
